I’m more scared of the people who thought he was right and cool when he was saying those things…

Did he apologized to his family and kids in the article?

A billionaire telling the general public how hard their life is is a joke that writes itself

If it was a 4 month long episode, why did it go on for years? The math isn’t mathing here. This seems like more of a shift of character bc the money is gone as a result of a destructive belief system he aligned with for a quick payday from horrible politicians

I have bipolar and I can confirm the damage we cause in during a mania episode is so profound. I nearly lost everybody, thankfully got my meds right and have been given the grace to rebuild relationships back up.

So sick of a woman being responsible for saving a man from his own toxicity.

I have a hard time not seeing people like my older brother in these situations. He has schizophrenia, and during his worst, most tumultuously improperly medicated moments he did and said things that were so awful and so truly abnormal, that he would never dream of doing or saying today now that he’s found the right treatment and is on the right medication. It’s scary to hold a brain accountable for things it’s out of control over, hard to know where that line is and where/if understanding needs to begin. At the same time you never know what’s going on behind closed doors, and this situation is such a blown up extreme version of that kind of situation. Mental illness is such a scary, uncertain, and unpredictable monster. Hate it for everyone in his life who are suffering along with him. It’s hard to love someone you only recognize on occassion.

Unless you have bipolar or are close to someone who has it you will never understand.

4 months? I'm confused, he's been in this mindset for far longer than four months?

From having a friend who is bipolar I understand the mindset Kanye was in, tho I don’t agree with what I said. Bipolar really is a disease, it really does control the person and it can hurt not only the person but the people around that person.

Money and status don’t separate us from falling to the human condition anymore than the unseen homeless people in society,we’re all much more fragile than any of us are even aware of. I salute Ye as his acknowledgment of his transgressions publicly, that takes a lot of courage to pick yourself up from a fall from Grace, and I hope and pray Ye’s fall from Grace brings him and his family into a deeper fall into Grace

Bipolar is devastating. People have no idea. Shame is a common side effect once the episodes are over. What he’s describing is very accurate. They think everything is ok while in it. I fully believe him based on his description.
