Everyone saying digital art is easy is so obnoxious. Digital art takes just as much skill. It’s just a tool and like every other tool, you need to know how to use it. Traditional artists have used tools and hacks to make their lives easier for years that many people used to call cheating like using light boxes, tracing, using stencils, etc.

Ngl I find digital art much harder than physical mediums. Painting and even drawing are bit easier to me. It’s easier manipulating paint than replicating those techniques digitally for me.

As someone who has only done it on paper/canvas with paint and pencils or pastels or whatever I was into, I just got procreate and it ain’t easy. It’s learning a whole new skill. And relearning about control all over again. Art is art, I don’t see any of you putting yourself out here for internet know it all critics. This was lovely and helpfully.
