Also the file type is from a video cassette. But it’s the same thing happening when I load on stuff from my iPhone.

did you try to click cloudconvert when you click “open with”? im not super familiar with google drive but cloudconvert should be able to convert your video to another file format, since it might just need to be compressed (although it will decrease the quality a tad bit if that matters). if this doesnt work, i would recommend looking on reddit or asking the reddit community r/googledrivefiles

I don't know if will help or not but I wouldn't upload video to Google drive. just upload the videos to YouTube and keep the settings private or unlisted and you can upload as much video as you want without using up drive space. (assuming the videos aren't like copyright or contain audio that is copyright)

Was it recorded on an iPhone what is the file type? You might need to convert it. Try downloading it and using VLC player.
