L5p's are equipped with a factory fuel heater ... so this would be a downgrade.

I've been running Semi's for 34 years and I'm a 4th generation truck driver. I don't care what you do, diesel fuel WILL gel and freeze IF you don't take the proper actions i.e. -- adding the correct amount of additives (notice I stated *correct amount*) -- changing fuel filters to 25 microns for better flow and less restriction -- using heater cores -- using tank heaters also use a trickle charger on batteries when windchill temps fall below °0 F

doesn't do much with fuel already in injectors and high pressure pump and lines tho need heated lines and pump wrap heated system that u can plug in keep it all 70 degrees

In my experience fass pumps actually make the fuel gel more..the heater only works when it’s running

The fass is only going to supply better fuel pressure when starting and running it’ll have little to no affect on a cold start for a truck you should have sold the guy a webasto or espar system that’ll make him never have a cold start again.

Running 0w40 with no block heater plugged in starts fine in northwestern Ontario never ran fuel conditioner either in my 17 6.7 power stroke no need for that money gimmick
