When I was learning lead something that really helped me was to practice slow. I would slow the metronome way down and play passages I was having trouble with. It’s ends up being harder than it sounds but when you speed back up the results are there.

Práctica 3 hours daily. After you feel comfortable with your playing then stand up and start practicing from scratch. Slow Consistency builds accuracy

Start slow and build up speed is the best tip always. Play fret 1-2-3-4 with each finger individually playing each fret while picking up and down alternately on each note. Work your way up the fretboard 2-3-4-5, 3-4-5-6 etc. Do it across all strings and get your picking & fretting hands working together! Most importantly balance playing for fun with exercises!

Daily exercises with picking to make sure you don’t get to finger dominant on the thumb and index. Easy trap to fall into!
