I think she may be wanting her best friend as miserable as her but also could she want the finance for herself? If your relationship is as solid and healthy as it is maybe she thinks that if she is with the guy, that’s means her relationship with him will be the same.

Op and her fiancé should talk to the officiant about leaving out the part where someone can object to the marriage. And that way if she does pop up uninvited and tried it, it won’t work. Also, have security if it’s in your budget and show them a picture and give her name so that they know who she is and what she looks and they can stop her at the door.
