@safestems: Is Baby’s Breath toxic? I avoided using it for a long time because of the mixed opinions. However, I’ve started to include it in some bouquets after thorough research. It can cause gastrointestinal irritation due to saponin compounds. However, the plant has not been known to cause any internal damages or fatality. It’s important to note that really no flowers are “good” for pets. Some are just way more dangerous than others. From what I’ve found, I wouldn’t classify Baby’s Breath as dangerous. I primarily source my pet-safety info from ASPCA, but I like to hear other opinions. What do you think? #educational #florist #petsafety #ValentinesDay #bouquet
