For me It’s one of those books that gets more heartbreaking with each read. There are so many things I missed the first time and when I caught them in my second and third re-read I was distraught

I read it as Manacled and I think that played a huge part in the emotional attachment for me 🥲 already knowing the characters and the Harry Potter world was a game changer at least for me

This is why I recommend everyone to read part 1, then 2, then go back to part 1 and then finish it out. Was way more heartbreaking BUT got the full story and empathized with Kaine so much more this way

I started with alchemized first and then went and read manacled. I found manacled to be not as dark which some people say it’s darker. But for me it seemed less! Also if you are a HP fan you’ll love because you know the world and the characters! I read back to back which was honestly kind of psychotic of me.
