@big.deal.pod: Recent studies confirm it: The tactile process of handwriting lights up the memory centers of the brain in ways typing cannot replicate. You are literally activating a different, more powerful part of your hardware when you pick up a pen. It forces the brain to synthesize the information before recording it. Leave a “YES” below and I’ll DM you this full episode 👇 @Dr. Shadé Zahrai @Codie Sanchez
This is exactly what is explained in the book I just read ‘The Digital Delusion’ and why technology is not the end all say all of learning, especially in the formative years. 👍🏼

Lynette :
If I visualize it then write it by hand on paper I can remember it without looking at the paper again. Its weird but, I hand write to note my brain not for future references.

Dr. Blessing Asuquo-Ekpo :
There’s something powerful about writing by hand, using color codes and highlights; it forces your brain to process, organize, and encode information, making it stick far better than just typing it into a computer.

If I write it down it will get done. If I do not, I will forget about it. Then comes back to me hours later “oh snap I forgot that” I always tell myself, see what happens when you don’t write it down lol
