oh yes my sweet lady! I learned a new trick when short of time.. I get a large can of pinto beans add bay leaves and ham bone let it cook on low for 6 hours. lord its makes the same beans quicker on the road

The reason you soak them is because the air bubbles come out and it helps you be less gassy! 🤭 I also made pinto beans with hamburger for the snow day!

Girl it was a splurge if my mom got cornbread mix lol. Butter beans in the crock pot feels like childhood. My mom would make collard greens too for a veg if she felt like making it lol.

We did the same!!! I cooked a ham from the freezer, cut it for sandwiches, made a breakfast casserole with some, then made pintos with the ham bone, then when we got tired of beans made chili with them!
