totally not the case. I manage 40 remote workers and we do not track at all. they are measured by performance, not time/activity

Yes they do! They all do. But as a 10 yr wfh girlie. The key to a successful wfh job, is to find the ones that cares more about the work being efficient and on time. Then the ones that worry about how long it took to use the bathroom. When you find the right one. Life working from home is sweet. 😊

y'all must have call center jobs. my employer doesn't do any of this. 😂 they do have the ability to see when you logged in and my ma said " I don't have time to babysit" if work is done and you show up to meetings, we are not bothered.

My job def micro manage..ACW , Ready time , Not ready time, lunch times, they listen in on your calls , can’t go over 2mins on your 15 min break

If you work for a company that micro manages then yes some work cultures are moving to a culture that’s project based if the task are complete there’s nothing to track

IT might be able to monitor, but it doesnt prove much and neither does it go anywhere!! However if your not performing than questions in capability could be raised

I set an alarm on my phone so I’m not on break longer than I’m supposed to be it’s easy to lose track of time when you are working from home

Honestly if you’re working in a customer facing role (talking on the phone, customer service) this is where you’re tracked. Other than that you’re tracked based off performance

I have to meet a productive number every day otherwise I get reprimanded. I love working from home, but yes it is a real demanding job. I dont get to nap, shop, lounge, or goof off. I work my 7:30 hours M-F.

And they arent just tracking activity. They’re tracking screen movement so jiggling your mouse to keep you active in teams isn’t gonna keep you safe. It’s what are you doing during the day so work at home means exactly that WORK . FROM. HOME.

I’m hybrid. If my work is done in my in office days, then I don’t open my laptop unless I have a meeting on my wfh days 😂 it’s a treat to myself for working hard 3 days straight
