If the kiss was awful that would be the last date , if you had chemistry the kiss would be good . I would kindly tell them the next day that I didn’t feel the spark . Sounds like that person should be a friend not a lover ❤️

So I’m hearing you say that the kiss was bad, but it was more like it was bad because it felt like it was a sibling, rather than a romantic interest. I think you can teach somebody to be a better kisser, but if the romantic chemistry is off and it feels platonic, or familial, it’s probably not worth a second date. You definitely can't judge it by the first kiss. Nerves are involved, you just met, and you are unsure of the other's feelings. Give it some time with another date. You may discuss the kiss before the next date.

I have had this happen and I just could not get over it. The physical chemistry was just not there. I did not tell him that specifically but I did tell him the chemistry just was not there for me.
