the one that surprised us this year was the heater going out then the 700 dollar light bill to get our lights back one right before Christmas. this is going to help us get back on track. we don't have debt cause we have never even tried to get a credit card.

I'm just so amazed that you are able to use past knowledge, mistakes, failures from us and others, as well as success from us and others and you roll all of that information into videos accompanied by research to give out to others FOR FREE. The best part of all of this is that you're using your own advice to help our family make the best financial decisions for our homestead. So no, we don't have animals...right now... because we aren't financially ready for that. Can you imagine wanting to make sure you can properly feed and care for your animals BEFORE you get them? What a crazy idea. (btw...if you're reading this and think I'm hinting to something or throwing shade on you....I probably am.) (but not you, Rainy) Anyway, as always, great video with great information.

One of our biggest expenses is our electric bill. We have tried everything the budget through the electric company, keeping the heat low, etc and nothing seems to work, so in the end we pay in full. Our goal is to save money to get a regular furnace system which will cut our costs in half if not more. Thank you for sharing this information with us 🫶🏼

Facts- It is always at the wrong time. I fell in the trap big time last year and am now playing catch up to get out of debt. We are gonna make it but definitely wish I would have been able to think about these things long term before starting our homestead.
