@cltserdh339: If you’re new to After Effects, you may be wondering about the purpose of a Null Object. 🤨 It doesn’t show in render, doesn’t do anything - what is it? The main purpose we use nulls for is to parent objects to them. The null is just a layer with transform properties. You can parent an object or a bunch of objects to it and Scale, Rotate and change Position. In a few reels I will show you a very cool use-case for a Null.
