I don’t have kids but I was this kid. I think it’s because the way kids pick up sounds and emotions and play, especially neurodivergents, they want you to cheer but they don’t actually want you to cheer. It’s hard to explain because I don’t have the academic words to describe exactly what’s happening but I understand what’s going on here.
