I'm Saudi and we have something similar.. Usually women will stay by their moms side 40 days after giving birth to be taken care of and her baby.. And many times if the woman doesn't have any family around her friends will cook for her everyday..i can't imagine any woman will do chores and work normally after giving birth.. It's very hard 😕

We do confinement at home in South Africa with the family helping but for those who don't have family I believe someone would make a lot of money if this was available here, provided it doesn't cost 17000 $ because it would be afforded by the elite and rich only
