Way back, 20 years ago, when I was young and dumb, I was trying to sell my 2005 Dodge RAM, quad cab, long bed, for $9k because she was very well kept and only had 85,000 miles on her, anyway, I listed her on Craigslist 😳😳😳 and some guy had to have my truck and sent me check for $12,000.00 but wait, I had to send the extra $3k to the "shipping contractor" That was my first brush w some check fraud, I thought long and hard, for a few days, meanwhile this guy was blowing my phone up, I just ripped the check up and blocked him
