Three brothers, 6, 8, and 9 years old, lost their lives after falling into an icy pond in North Texas. Three kids. One family. A kind of pain no parent should ever have to face. Over the weekend, a 16-year-old girl also lost her life in a sledding accident here in Texas, and her friend remains in critical condition. Different moments, same heartbreak. Families forever changed. If you have kids, hold them a little tighter today. If you love someone, don’t wait to tell them. And please be careful out there. Weather like this isn’t the time to take chances. Right now, what matters most is prayer. Pray for the families waking up to unimaginable loss, for the friends and classmates trying to make sense of grief this big, and for healing for the young life still fighting.
