Ahmad From Gaza :
To Every Heart That Still Beats with Humanity
I am writing this not with ink but with the remains of my shattered soul. I am a widowed father in Gaza, and all I have left in this fading world is my son a beautiful boy, barely a year old.
Every night, I hold him against my chest, feeling his small heart beat against mine. It is a beat filled with a life he deserves to live, yet I am haunted by the paralyzing fear that I will fail to protect him. We live in the ruins of what used to be a home, where the winter rain seeps through the cracks, and the cold gnaws at our bones.
There are no words to describe the agony of a father who watches his child fall asleep hungry. No work, no income, no medicine just the hollow silence of a world that seems to have forgotten we exist. I pretend to be strong for him, I smile through the breaking of my heart, but inside, I am screaming.
I do not ask for pity. Pity does not feed a hungry child or mend a broken roof. I ask for humanity. I ask for the right to see my son grow, to see him safe, and to give him the simple things every child on this earth is entitled to.
Please, stand with us before the darkness swallows what is left of our hope. Stand with a father who is simply trying to keep his heartbeat alive through his son.
Before it is too late, I beg you to hear us.💔
