Meeting with the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Muhammad Sohail Afridi ❤️ Today, I had the opportunity to meet the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Muhammad Sohail Afridi. First of all, I would like to appreciate that this is the first time I have seen a CM who genuinely visits and interacts with the public without a heavy protocol. It was truly inspiring. While returning home from work, I saw the CM at a BRT station in Peshawar. Surprisingly, he boarded the same BRT bus that I usually take. I greeted him and told him that although it was my first time meeting him, I had an important concern to share. I informed him about my sister, who is partially blind. Despite her disability, she secured 3rd position in the Peshawar Board examinations last year. Unfortunately, she was not given the position she rightfully deserved due to issues that we have been challenging legally. The matter is still under consideration in the High Court. I explained the entire situation to the CM, including how marks were deducted and how she was denied her rightful recognition. After listening carefully, the CM asked for my phone number and assured me that he would personally contact me to discuss the matter in detail. I also raised another important issue: the lack of dedicated colleges and educational facilities for visually impaired students. The CM responded positively and said that he would discuss this matter further as well. It was a pleasure meeting the Chief Minister, and I sincerely hope he follows up and helps my sister receive the recognition and justice she deserves. What makes this even more emotional for us is that my sister achieved such an outstanding result despite being partially blind. Many students can only dream of securing a board position, yet she accomplished it through hard work, determination, and courage.
