Everyone in the comments who feels like they might have BPD, please listen. I’m actually diagnosed, and it took years of advocating for myself to get there. A lot of providers have biases or misunderstandings about what BPD looks like. I’ve been told things like “you’re too self aware” or “you seem too put together,” even though what they described as BPD traits fit me exactly. That experience can feel really invalidating, and that alone can be VERY triggering. Be prepared for it and don’t shy away from it.

Not BPD, but at the age of 3 I was diagnosed with autism level 3, then at 11 I got rediagnosed this time with high functioning level 1 autism, (it’s a spectrum), around that same year when I first got my period, I started developing symptoms of PMDD and dealt with no treatment for 8 years, this year I am officially getting treated for PMDD and about to get diagnosed for depression and reevaluated for autism, I fought for 8 years
