MissDolly02 :
I mean I only blew it because I went on vacation and fully stopped tracking, stopped thinking about calories and stopped moving regularly. All I had to do was get back into it after, but I struggle with ADHD and waited so long it became this huge task. I think that's gonna be an issue for me no matter what. Tracking has really helped me learn estimate kcal intake better, I would say that has been a very important thing for me, I don't think I would have to put it in an app forever, but I will have to stay mindful about it forever. Seeing the numbers just really helps me, personally, tho. So using the insanity quote doesn't really apply here, because the results were absolutely there! Best results I ever had. My inconsistency thinking "I can just take a break an not worry about any of it for 2 weeks" is my biggest issue here, no matter what method I apply.
Different things can work for different people, is all I'm trying to say. You say logging kcal intake is exhausting and held you back. I'm saying, for me, logging actually motivated me. I would look at my weekly total, not just my daily, which made me realise I hadn't "ruined" anything whenever I went over 1 day. This made it much easier for me to keep up my fat loss and made me consistently lose weight. But my brain makes getting anything started into a huge task and that goes for anything, from getting up in the morning to making an important phonecall. Taking a break combined with ADHD task paralysis is my enemy. Not tracking. But thanks for saying I'm insane I guess😅
