He’s required to provide proof of insurance. If he doesn’t want to give his phone to the officer to provide proof of insurance then he needs to provide it another way. It’s his responsibility to provide the proof of insurance.

People ever hear of paper everything is electronic nowadays I’m not an old head or old. I’m just saying I was raised and brought up to have my insurance as paper proof not this digital stuff.
