@astralfrontiers: Right now, humanity is confined to a tiny corner of the universe — the Milky Way. Even our fastest spacecraft would take millions of years just to reach the nearest galaxy, Andromeda, which is about 2.5 million light-years away. To put that into perspective: If we traveled at the speed of our fastest probe, it would take longer than all of recorded human history — thousands of times over. There are deeper challenges too. • Energy: No known fuel source could power such a journey. • Time: Human lifespans are insignificant on cosmic scales. • Physics: Faster-than-light travel remains theoretical, with no proven method. • Survival: Radiation, isolation, and system failures over millions of years would be catastrophic. Some ideas do exist — generation ships, suspended animation, nuclear propulsion, or even warping spacetime itself. But for now, these remain concepts, not capabilities. Interestingly, Andromeda is slowly moving toward us. In about 4–5 billion years, our galaxies will merge. Humanity won’t need to travel there… space itself will bring it to us. So can humans reach another galaxy? Not with today’s technology. Not with tomorrow’s either. But the universe has always rewarded civilizations that think beyond their limits. And every impossible journey begins as a question. 🌠 Would you go—if it were possible?

Darkside 👿 :
Yes humans can. This is my theory if we can have a big space ship were humans can stay on eat on born for generations and it’s moving at the fastest speed we can get there but those humans who started the trip wont be able to reach there because they would eventually die but their offsprings would definitely get there 🤔

it's possible but physically impossible. But remember knowledge is limitless, in million years or billion years, we might stop the sun from exploding and might even create a teleportation machine

Why can’t we make a giant ship and get a lot of people and keep reproducing until we reach there like what

I believe we don't have the elements for that. I believe those elements are somewhere else waiting to be discovered

So it’s clearly possible. We just don’t understand a different way to travel.

to get to the nearest star traveling at lightspeed (300,000 km/sec) it would take 4 years
the current fastest man-made object(not the manhole) is going 190 km/sec and would take 160,000 years

dude probably never heard about time dilation and length contraction before. in theory if we build a space craft that can move with 99.9999999% of speed of light the people on this aircraft will reach andromeda galaxy only in 1.2 years but 2.5 million years will have been past on earth.

Who’s there? :
I believe other intergalactic species come and visit earth frequently and they have technology which we can’t even comprehend and they travel with unimaginable speed, or maybe even teleport. Maybe in 100 years we will get better and have better technology than we have today and we will be able to travel to other galaxies or planets in the matter of minutes
