@cleanandsober: In this interview, Robin Williams speaks openly about his struggles with alcohol and cocaine, and the role rehab played in his life. Born July 21, 1951, Williams became one of the most beloved entertainers in the world, known for his explosive humor, improvisation, and deeply emotional performances in films like Good Will Hunting, Dead Poets Society, and Mrs. Doubtfire. Behind the laughter, addiction was a recurring battle. He talks candidly about how substance use escalated, how fame didn’t protect him, and why asking for help became necessary. Rehab wasn’t framed as a failure, but as an act of survival and responsibility. The interview shows a man who understood his vulnerabilities and spoke about them without shame. Robin Williams’ honesty helped break stigma and reminded many that even the brightest personalities can carry heavy struggles. #RobinWilliams #Sobriety #AddictionRecovery #MentalHealthAwareness #HonestConversations #RecoveryJourney #Healing #ChooseHelp

Being an alcoholic is the most exhausting charade. I’m still practicing but finally had the organic thought of it’s time to stop
