There used to be a show called Another Heavenly Morning where an employee would get snowmobiled to the top to call into the tv program and give a weather report. I did it several times and was up there early enough to see the sunrise. Then I’d ski down to the California Lodge before we opened. It was magical.

Also make sure that your ski resort allows this and make sure they are not exploding avalanches in the morning!! (My ski resort does from like 5am to 7am generally)
