@greggotcars: Bought this 2024 Kia Seltos from a follower for $16,500 and decided to send it to auction to test wholesale. It ran and sold for $18,000 which honestly wasn’t what I expected. What I never understand is this When I buy at auction, prices feel way over real wholesale. But when I sell at auction, I can’t seem to get full wholesale value. Make this make sense. #carsales #cardealer #pov #sales #dealership
700$ is a good profit because you don't "fully serviced" it

I was a Kia sales manager for four years and my favorite demo was a Seltos. I liked that little thing.

Seltos have dropped in value a ton! $18k is what they have been going for at auction. Now if it was a CRV, easy 23+!

Buyers think that cars drop from the heavens in these big named lanes🤣 Vs us dealers selling them under our name. Its all just dealers running them through either way lol

That guy :
When I used to buy at auction, a small dealer selling a car that new at the auction was a huge red flag to me. I can’t imagine I was the only one who felt the same way. Especially when it’s a car that finances well.

We deal with the same thing… they feel you wouldn’t get rid of it unless something is wrong with it… you aren’t a wholesaler you are a retail lot…

its easy to explain, wholesale is a shortcut which involves a middleman, that middleman is the one making the money. The model is the same one you use, buy cheap sale high.
