I mean English is a super common language so it makes sense to learn a super common language that is used around the world. Like i dont understand the flex of learning a language

In 2016 I moved to London. 2 years after I worked at a cinema, Two english girls were laughing at my accent saying why do I speak in an american accent and not british if I live here? 😂 I then told them " well, when I started to learn english I was watching tv shows from america" and then again, they started to make fun of me so I asked them: "how many languages you can speak?" they said only english and I said " I might not speak with an accent but I speak and write in 5 different languages, what's your excuse" when I tell you for months they started to bully me more and more until they got fired 🤣

whenever they make fun of me I start speaking German, French, Italian or Swiss Gernan😄. Who laughs last laughs the best 🤷♂️(what we say in German, I don't know if it exists in English as well)
