I developed a pea allergy when I was 4 years old , which really is an allergy to peas , lentils , chickpeas, peanuts and soy (all legumes! But I can eat some varieties of beans) and now at 29 I am still severely allergic :’) it’s good that you’re building up her tolerance now bc some allergies don’t get outgrown 😭

Don’t know how right this is but I’ve heard it’s possible to grow out of certain allergies at certain ages so hopefully in the future she will be able to have some of these foods later in life

My son had this and tested positive for lots and had a food challenge in hospital last week and he’s not allergic to sesame we have oats next week hopefully he isn’t allergic to that and then we have milk eggs and almonds to go 🥰

How long were you waiting for your appointment, please? My little one is 10 months and we’ve been on the waiting list since she reacted to eggs at 5 months 😭 she also has CMPA x

Not sure if you’ve already seen but we’ve recently discovered ‘Baby are you nuts’ they sell powders of nuts so you don’t have to buy loads of different types if you don’t typically eat them. They’re really good! Highly recommend! https://babyareyounuts.co.uk/

Did they run blood tests after? The skin prick can give a 50-60% false positive rate. Also blood tests will give a higher change of known which part of the protein it is in milk to know if they can tolerate baked milk. My kiddo is allergic to dairy egg and most nuts.

I’ve got a friend with an egg allergy and we use a website called mommyshomecooking .com which has so many recipes for eggless cooking, has been really helpful when cooking for her! X

I’ve been on the waiting list for my daughter to have a skin prick test, for multiple allergies, since she was 4 months old, her appointment isn’t until October this year… she will be 2 years old by the time she’s seen 😭😭
