@rmntamina: I used to tell myself I'd enjoy life later. When I’m older. When the kids have grown. When I’ve hit a certain milestone. After the burnout magically disappeared. But "later" is a promise no one actually guarantees you. So I stopped waiting. I quit my job as a registered nurse at 28 to focus fully on my business. Because I never want to look back and realize I traded the best years of my life for a job that could replace me in a week. (It actually started as something on the side for 10 months but ended up replacing my income without the burn out) And if you’re also feeling this then know that.. You don't have to quit everything tomorrow. But you should start asking yourself what kind of life you're building. If its a life of constant restrictions, compromises and sacrifice then my advise!? Start building something that will bring you freedom decades earlier than retirement! 🙌🏼 If you’re ready to start now - kickstart your journey to building a life on your own terms. Nurses that get out of bed to go work knowing they will be helping people that are in need, may Allah reward them for their efforts and give them the best in this life and Akhirah.

As healthcare workers that’s what we need to decide when entering a selfless career, do I want to be there for every single precious moment, or work a fulfilling job so Allah rewards me in the akhirah. I know which one I’d choose.

everytime I see nurses/ex nurses posts on tik tok I think I'm the only nurse who loves their job and wants to do it forever😂. I consider myself a puppy still after 10 years but hope I continue to do it until I retire but I feel so much for everyone who burnt out doing it
