@taylorcezanne: Follow this puppy routine & you’ll have a potty trained (& crate trained) puppy! Here it is: 1. As soon as they wake up, they go to their potty spot. If you have a backyard, that can be a spot in the yard. If you live in an apartment like me, you can use pads or use a fresh patch. I choose to use both! This takes about 10 mins. 2. After pottying, let them PLAY! This is the time to let them run around. I also recommend to introduce them to a new thing every day. This takes 30 mins. 3. Then they need to eat. You can had feed them or you can put their food in an enrichment toy (I have lots of options for each age puppy on my Amazon storefront!). This takes 15 mins. 4. They go back in the smaller playpen to go potty again and start to wind down. I sometimes give them a licky mat during this time to facilitate calming down. When they get older, a bully stick works too. This takes 15-30 mins. 5. Now they are finally tired again. You can let them fall asleep in the pen, and transfer them to a crate. Put on baby lullaby music and cover the crate. They will be asleep for 1-3 hours, usually around 2 on average. 6. Repeat this again when they wake up! This will repeat about 3-4x a day.
