@popculturescientist: How do you like your light? Old, like really really old!! The cosmic microwave background is our last piece of evidence that something is off with gravity. But what can it tell us? This us is Dark Matter Explained: episode 7. The Cosmic Microwave Background #physics #stem #popculturescientist #cosmology #Astronomy
I was a mond guy, but now I’m primordial black holes.

lol love how it is no longer a definite thing to say the big bang, at least as it is understood, was the beginning of this universe.

Will there come a point when the CMB will have red shifted to the point that we can no longer detect it?

The part that I do not understand is how can we see that light when the universe formed (big bang)? If our planet formed after the big bang from dust projected by thr bing bang and went to occupy its place in space as early as one year after the big bang then the light from the big bang will have passed through that point in space earlier than our planet formed. Unless the dust expansion and planet forming was faster than the speed of light which is impossible.

... but how do you picture it when you hear this in the radio frequency after microwave.. it just just hisses.. is that what actually was happening b4 .. particles going here & there

Surely that graphic of a galaxy spinning is not a correct representation. Do galaxy’s have more and more spin as you get closer to the center like a whirlpool? Or does the whole galaxy spin more or less as one entity?

Ok. Can you explain your phase “pressure from light”. I seem to not understand how light can cause pressure. Thx

is this mutually exclusive with that idea that you can extrapolate interference patterns from ostensibly ancient gravitational waves in the CMB?
