Money not being there is PERSONALLY the only acceptable reason to propose without specific plans to get married soon imo 😭 like. Literally what is the point of an engagement otherwise idk. Seems so weird to me how women fantasise about being the fiance just to not have the gf title?? If he wanted to actually marry u wouldn’t he just do that instead of stringing u along with a proposal that leads nowhere? Idkkk 😭

I wanna say this is different for every woman. I was engaged for 2, almost 3 years and we even talked about doing a courthouse wedding and it never happened. I told my current bf that im not waiting more than a year to be married next time I get engaged

Depends on each couples goals/ timeline! I got engaged two years in and we just want to be fiancés for a few years before marriage - some people wait to get engaged so they can get married sooner 🥰

Mine is a bit of a different situ but my partner proposed to me right before my dad died so he could at least see that and have peace of mind I guess. It's been a year and we still havent planned anything wedding wise, and I'm loving it😂🤩 it's nice to be a fiance for a while🥰
