Safelite sucks. Don’t use them if you have sensors in your windshield

I went to cancel my Disney+ subscription bc it was 12.99 a month. They offered 6.99 a month for three months…. Maybe

I love Safelite because I worked for a trash company and a trash hauler. Passing me on the road drop something broke my windshield in my line of sight. I called Safelite. They couldn’t get to me for a couple of days. I lived in a rural area so I told them I can find somebody else to fix it as I needed it now. they called me twice and found somebody over an hour and a half away to come same day and fix it.

Take it to a local shop. A place by me that does auto glass charged me $250 to swap out my old windshield with a new one. They’re not that expensive, and not worth claiming it on your insurance either.

99% of the time if you have a chip in your windshield, your insurance will cover that for free with Safelite.

I replaced windshields for a couple years. I can’t tell you how many cars we worked on that were absolutely DESTROYED by safelite. So, yes, you may save some money in the here and now, when your insurance totals your car for water damage to the electronics because safelite installed your glass wrong, you’re out a car. So, no, safelite really isn’t the cheaper option

depends on the state it's free with full insurance and you can always find a better price on Facebook marketplace I've had one repaired for like a hundred bucks before
