This! My husband and I prioritized saving/investing in our 20s and routinely would wonder what we were doing wrong and why we felt ‘broke’ compared to some of our friends. Then a friend proudly admitted he hasn’t paid his student loans or started retirement savings because it’s ’not a priority’ for him. He got real uncomfortable when we all were like…. Dude. Focus on your financial future not others even if it’s hard.
