@thespiritofgenx: Replying to @SidXlucious1999 Learn a bit of firearm safety while having fun at the same time with this Block 19 building block toy. #block19 #pewpew #gunsafety ##lego #toygun @Cyber Mac
Nothing kills my soul more than the grumpy gentlemen that get annoyed that I, a woman, am the only person manning the gun counter, before proceeding to ask me if I have any clips for their Glock 19, LCP, etc.

that could be a really good teaching implement for gun safety especially if you're teaching your kids how to use a gun

The danger is, it kind of teaches kids that there are no consequences to firing a gun at themselves or others. Then one day they find dad’s real gun and… well you know the rest. The responsibility sits with the adults to know proper gun safety and teach this to their children. A toy is not a good method because it takes the grave seriousness out of the conversation. To each their own but I can’t help but see some serious danger… too many parents won’t take this responsibility seriously and the kid is the one who looses in the end.

Biggest pet peeve is people not knowing the difference between a CLIP and a MAGAZINE. Almost as bad as using unthaw in the wrong context

the clip vs mag is purely semantics. the safety practices far more important but this is a great practice tool

I don't know how I feel about this. On one hand it's a toy that looks realistic enough that it could be mistaken for a pew-pew. On the other it seems to be a good training tool. I'm conflicted.

We’re expecting our first baby and I think this is such a good tool to have to teach him about safety and proper handling one day before getting him out on a range. Obviously a long time from now but have to learn somehow.

Does the CLIP hold more than 10 shots, or does your state unconstutionally limit them?

We could also just not make our kids obsessed with guns as kids. That would be awesome too.
