Repeat after me; “Legends was never canon.” George just let them do their own shit with them knowing that. Then Disney bought it and made some rules, and officially decanonized the extended shit.

I like the Jedi kyber crystals in cannon, but I like the Sith synthetic crystals from legends more.

Kyber crystals used to be so unique and cool and now they're just rainbow crystals. my favorite one was the ghostfire Kyber crystals it was practically invisible to the naked eye that's the type of uniqueness every crystal had ☹️

My biggest thing is that Legends became too expansive and unruly. It was too much. I like that Disney has streamlined it and added more oversight (sequel trilogy notwithstanding). I like a lot of things about legends better, and there are things in canon I don’t like, but at least it’s tidier and easier to follow.

And even before Disney bought it, Legends was never really canon. Lucas never considered it such and he changed things whenever a project he was working on touched on those things

I like both canon and legends lore on kybar crystals. Took time to get here, before I hated the new canon lore on it but as said in the video there have been good things from Disney, not many but some.
