lol when I was a kid the wire got stuck to my cheek and I had to leave school and have my dentist cut the wire and remove it 😭 I hated braces

my first thought was why wasnt it bent or curved. then saw that after time teeth shifting can cause it. that makes sense, but my son had very traumatic experience with wire being stuck in his cheek. need a better way, brushing even minimum 2x a day, and eating wax isnt going to stay
