I use the baking soda, dawn, and vinegar combo. Run the paste on the stain, let it sit for a while and wash. Works every time.

I keep a small bottle of dawn in my closet and dab it on any stains before I throw it in the hamper. Works 100% of the time. Not power wash, old school dawn.

I’ve had more success when I put the baking soda on leave it brush most of it off and then do the iron thing and you can see it draw up the oil from the fabric. I just did that on my rug that I spilled olive oil on and I got an amazing amount of oil up into the paper.

I’ve been using plain white chalk, or colored chalk if I can’t find my kids white chalk and rub it on the spots heavily then re-wash, sometimes it takes a second wash but has always got the oil stains out
