Omg I feel so guilty about this too! I asked the pet store what I needed for betta fish and they told me and I trusted them and now I’m haunted by how wrong and hurtful it was to my betta fish!! 😫😭

I had a betta when I was younger and he was cared for pretty well, could have been better but my mum did her best (unfortunately he developed a tumour so we chose to euthanise him to prevent suffering), however I just got my first betta since then and he's not doing very well. I so desperately want to do what's best for him and he's currently in an isolation tank with tannins to try and help his fin rot but i'm not sure he's going to make it and I really don't know what to do to help him :<

I just got my first betta and I’ve been doing a lot more research since getting him so I’m going to upgrade all of his stuff and his tank so he can live happily since fish dont get too long to live
