You may not like his politics or music but Kid Rock is fighting an uphill battle for music fans. He's honest about being a capitalist and recognizes how expensive it's become to attend events- sports, music, etc. I'm not a Pearl Jam fan but I appreciate their efforts in the 90s to fight against ridiculous ticket pricing.

The only way to actually control ticket prices is to do what Pearl Jam and Neil Young do which is make tickets non-transferable and if you want to sell tickets you can only sell them for face value through a fan to fan exchange. The problem is many artists don’t care to push for this.
