Ginger Lady :
I love this story because it’s so deep and points to Jesus. The prisoner’s dreams are the Passover meal and Jesus’ death and resurrection. The baker dreams of bread and Joseph tells him that in 3 days he’ll be hung from a tree…just like Jesus is hung from a tree. The wine bearer dreams of serving wine and Joseph tells him that in 3 days he’ll rise back to him rightful place…just like Jesus rises and returns to the right hand of God! The bread, or flesh, must die; the wine, or blood, gives us life!
