mine hated it too but I know they have rubber ones that go on ur thumb idk if you have tried it but it helps for me!

We started with the finger brush and a bit of Greek yogurt/peanut butter to simulate it. Eventually worked our way up to a regular toothbrush and chicken flavored enzymatic toothpaste. We also use plaque off in her meals once a day.

Put something tasty, like coconut oil or even a little bit of peanut butter to get him used to the feeling of bristles. You can slowly put less and less as the time goes on. Give him lots of praise and a big treat once done. Also, get a smaller toothbrush to start out with. Don’t build up the anticipation. Just casually come up to him and start brushing. At first don’t focus on a thorough brushing just start with short comfortable brushings then slowly increase the time.
