Well Luke, we all called in to work based on a lie. The "Good'ol" days I guess. Congratulations on the sobriety tho. You're doing amazing 🤩 And I love your videos. Thank you for sharing.

Spot on Luke that was exactly my behaviour. I used to do that every three days until I was 42, went to my first AA meeting on 21 Aug 2000. I’m now 67, still sober 25 years on.

I still came into work partially drunk and just push through in my early 20s 😅

Birds of a feather flock together. You had the sense, courage and strength to leave the flock! Putting yourself out there with honesty is healing, commendable and can help others 🙏🏼 Godspeed! ❤️

Lol. In my 20s, in the 1980s, I'd finish work at 11pm, head home, get changed, and hit the town till the clubs closed, then be back at work by 7am. No "getting in late" sadly. 😄

Thanks for the walk down memory lane, my stories are similar but would also include the need for a long lunch while I took a nap in my car… this reminded me how grateful I am for 8.5 years of sobriety!

Those stories are all I’ve got these days! Love catching up with old city mates to talk about our past shenanigans as unbelievable as they now sound! 😅 Great great times were had and will always be cherished but never repeated 👍

Been there many mornings in my 20s 🤣🤣🤣, but I've found my way back in my 40s. I retired early and just bored. I see the sunrise way too much 🤪🤪
