There is a happy medium. I love my ability to take real sick leave in Austria but I DEEPLY need the German speaking world to understand that cough medicine that actually works exists, and you can recover faster if you can actually sleep instead of coughing all night. 😭

Dont go to the doc for cold. Stay home and drink lots of water and take paracetamol. Thats what the doc will say anyway.
