@saw.built: I picked up this table at an epic one-day-only antique sale at @boltranchstore This one was one of a couple tables leftover. No one wanted it, even though it had a solid 2” ash top. So I took the wobbly table home and added more ash with some traditional joinery. The Japanese saws came in handy. Everything is rock solid and matches the old wood well. The treatment included tea, iron acetate, shellac and wax, which gives an greybrown antique appearance.
