random but do you know why my golden pothos would have random stems sticking up out the soil? I cannot figure it out. I have never trimmed it so no idea where they would come from

It’s super “leggy” as we call it in the green thumb world 🥰 you need to prune it. Like all of it. Every vine. The best part tho is that if its roots are healthy (looks like it) no rot, no mushy stems? You can make like 20+ more plants off of the pruned cuttings by propagating them.

Definitely bottom water it! I have a pothos hanging basket like this and it’s sooo dramatic like this when it needs a good bottom watering. Once I did it, it pretty much looked brand new. I water mine regularly once a week and then bottom water it once a month

Hi! This is great ❤️I work at a plant store and what I’d do in a few weeks (they say spring but in desperate times anything is better than nothing) go up 2inchs in pot size those roots need to unravel and be freee. Also new leaves will only grow from the bottom of the vine so even if it becomes healthy again she’ll be bald in areas from the past trauma 🥲 I would honestly right now leave her to enjoy that new soil with regular watering, trim it down and propagate the cuttings so when you repot in April the cuttings will be ready to pot at the same time either together or separately is up to you! The plant thanks you for the TLC! 😅
