Honestly disposable is a way to go. You’re still touching the toilet and now that cover has a dirty toilet germs on it 🤢 these are definitely helpful when visiting family members though

To teach her to not touch the toilet have her hold your hands. That’s what I did with my son and now he either holds my hands while he goes or he puts his hands on his knees. Never the toilet seat

I would still put a seat cover under and then the seat on top.

Teach her to not touch the toilet seat as well sooner than later 🥲 I have 3 big kids now and I’ve always taught them to put their hands on their knees when in public they just had to learn to balance

I just bring disinfecting wipes and do a quick swipe over areas it comes into contact with. then once done, disinfect the toddler seat before it goes back in the bag. tedious, a little. but better than hovering or having an accident!

Am I the only one confused in the comments why everyone is stating the contamination factor like yes it’s a thing but I thought it was to lessen the toilet with so she doesn’t “fall” in

I SWEAR by disposable toilet covers. They’re large and cover every part so you aren’t touching!
