schizophrenia is gut related, antipsychs and moodstablizers are stop gaps. you genuinely cannot eat wrong or you'll get sick, schizophrenia is genuinely an undergrowth of one bacteria and an overgrowth of another. cravings are your bodies signal for what you need, thats why if you're craving too much sugar its usually siblings different diabetes and stuff but long term schizophrenia is from malnourishment lmao thats why meds can't be used long term but that is very hard to break down to people because it takes years to fix your gut, exercise, get money, etc etc

I've gotten some relief from antihistamines.. I take them constantly now because I noticed they also help with my other conditions.. I don't have those days that are so intense I'm out of control anymore. It's helped so much

My PMDD lasts a week, it’s absolutely awful and I wouldn’t be alone without an IUD to help manage my hormones. I nearly k*lled myself month after month for years until the IUD.

Omg yes! I was dealing with it for so long (a week every month) and finally was able to take something more natural and the episodes have become way shorter and less intense. It’s the heaviest feeling having to remind yourself that “this feeling isn’t really how I feel inside and will pass” but mannnnn it’s terrifying being in it like that bc it’s DARK

samE helped my PMDD. It’s a methylated B complex vitamin that can pass the blood brain barrier and lower inflammation in your brain by lowering histamines. It’s marketed as an over-the-counter antidepressant.

I had PMDD so badly. it lasted 10-12 days before my period every month. every. month. and it was getting WORSE when perimenopause started. my PMDD was extremely severe to the point I had to get a full hysterectomy. thank GOD my doctor believed me, and I didn't have to fight to get the surgery. if I was denied, I don't think I'd still be here. there needs to be more awareness around PMDD.
