The THS is the Trimmable Horizontal Stabilizer. It is the movable horizontal tailplane at the back of the aircraft that adjusts its angle to trim the aircraft in pitch. At the horizontal stabilizer are the elevators installed. The elevators are movable control surfaces mounted on the trailing edge of the horizontal stabilizer.
